Importing products from a .csv

Employ our .csv template to import products from any platform into your Squarespace shop. The .csv helps you lot create a Squarespace-friendly format for all of your existing product data, including variants, prices, stock, tags, and categories. You can also bulk-edit products by importing an updated .csv file.

If you're importing from Big Dare, Etsy, or Shopify, employ our platform-specific options instead.

Production importing is only available on the Commerce Basic and Advanced plans.

Enable your content

If the store folio field in your .csv file is blank, your imported content will appear in a new store page in the Not linked section of the Pages panel. This page is disabled by default. This means that it's hidden from your navigation menus, and visitors can't see it until you're ready to move and enable it.

If you specified a store page in the Product Page column of your .csv file, your products will be imported to that page. Y'all can just add an existing store folio to the .csv file. They'll be hidden by default, so visitors can't see them until you make them visible.

Tip: If you don't see anImported shop page in the Pages panel, refresh your browser.

Limitations

Imported products won't accept a ready featured image. You can set featured images manually.
This is a one-time import. Any updates to your original store or .csv won't automatically sync to Squarespace after the import.
The import is just for physical and service products. Digital products, subscription products, and gift cards won't import.
It'south non possible to schedule products with an import. You tin can only publish or hide.
In version seven.one, you can import upwards to 10,000 products per store page. In version 7.0, the limit is 200. In both versions, you can import up to 250 variants per product.
